REDDING, Calif. - Simpson Volleyball celebrated senior day by acknowledging the play of senior's
Miranda Cook,
Ashley Cervantes, and
Ashley Job.
All of that aside, the Red Hawks fought a five set war against PUC. After going down two sets to one, Simpson rallied to pull off the comeback win by recording set four and five victories.
The seniors shined in their final home match. Each were in double figures with kills, led by
Miranda Cook with 14, while
Ashley Cervantes and
Ashley Job each had 12.Â
Marianne Soria and
Ashley Cervantes led the way defensively with 27 and 21 respectively. Soria remains in 2nd in the Cal Pac in digs per set at 4.8.
SU snaps a 3 game skid and finishes their home schedule with an important victory. The Red Hawks will complete their season on the road at UC Merced on Nov. 3rd at 7 pm.
