MERCED, Calif. - Simpson men's soccer opened up its first conference road game with a loss to UC Merced 4-0.
The Bobcats controlled most of the action for the 90 minutes constantly making the Simpson defense working firing 27 shots, 19 of which were on goal.

Tristan Webb, recorded a career-high saves for the Red Hawks. Juan Flores for the Bobcats tallied a hat trick scoring twice in the first half both off of assists and then another in the 71st minute that was unassisted.
The Red Hawks are still looking for their first Cal Pac win of the season and will attempt to do so as they host Cal Maritime on Saturday, September 30th at 3 pm on the Simpson Soccer Field.
