REDDING, Calif. -- The Red Hawks took on Benedictine Mesa in their first match of the Cal Pac Season, falling 3-0.

The Red Hawks started off the game going toe-to-toe with Benedictine with the first half ending 0-0. Benedictine took command early in the second half of play with their first goal coming in the 48th minute. Benedictine extended its lead with two more goals in the 68th minute. The Red Hawks had opportunities to score but were unable to connect managing just three shots on goal during the match. Tristan Webb had another great game in goal racking up 11 saves on the afternoon.

The Red Hawks take on visiting Embry Riddle Saturday morning at 11 am.
