REDDING, Calif. - Simpson men and women soccer struggled in their home defeats against the Eagles from Embry-Riddle on Sunday.
The women suffered in a game that was called at halftime with the final score 8-0. In her first game in goal,
Emily Fuller tallied 18 saves for the Red Hawks.
The men found themselves behind early after a quick goal in the 2nd minute and the Eagles would not take their foot off the pedal. Embry-Riddle would tack on six more goals for a final of 7-0.
Tristan Webb recorded 8 saves on the game as Nicholas Goldstein finished with a hat trick for Embry-Riddle.
Both Red Hawk teams will return to action on Thursday as they will face UC Merced in another Cal Pac meeting.Â
