Rocklin, Calif. -- The Red Hawks fell in straight sets to the Warriors out of Life Pacific Friday morning: 25-15, 25-8, 25-18.
The Red Hawk offense was led by freshman
Cameron Wallace who tallied 6 kills on 16 attacks while
Sara Salmon racked up 9 assists. Simpson continues to struggle offensively as they totaled just 18 kills as a team but compiled 26 errors in the three sets. Simpson finishes out their road trip later today as they take on Northwest Christian University.
Simpsons woes continued Friday afternoon as they fell in 3 straight sets to Northwest Christian University 25-11, 25-12, 25-20.
While the Red Hawks improved tremendously over their earlier game on Friday, they were still unable to capitalize, hitting below 10% for the match.
Ashley Job totaled 6 kills, while
Sara Salmon added 5 and
Diean Manu added 4. Although Simpson was able to tally 30 digs as a team, it wasn't enough to overcome the balanced attack from the Beacons who tallied 37 kills. The Red Hawks return home to host the Simpson Volleyball Classic on August 24th and 25th in the James M. Grant Center.
