The Red Hawks snap a 3 game win streak with a 5-4 loss to La Sierra. This loss marks the sixth one run defeat in the Cal Pac for SU.  The Red Hawks gave up 4 runs in the final three innings and were unable to answer with their offense.  Jarret Kirby pitched well through 7.2 despite getting a no decision; he only gave up 4 hits while fanning 7 batters.  Simpson was unable to get timely hits in the late innings that could have given them the lead.

NOTABLE STATS:
Wilson Kessel hit a two run blast in the 2nd inning, his first of the season.
Kessel also drove in a four runs in the loss
Jarret Kirby had his longest outing of the year, throwing just over 100 pitches
Michael Carlos tallied his 7th double of the year to lead off the third inning and shortly came around to score
