VALLEJO, Calif. - Simpson University men's basketball struggles on the road to Cal Maritime Academy, 79-54.

The Red Hawks hung around in the first half despite the slow start to the game. The second half was all Keelhaulers as they dominated outscoring Simpson, 50-30.  Simpson shot just 33 percent from the floor for the game and just 1-5 from beyond the arc.

Josh Brakkee recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Aron Rudd tallied 13 points coming off of the ankle injury, where he missed two games.

Simpson will play its final game of the season on Saturday, February 18th at 7:30 pm against UC Merced.
