REDDING, Calif. -- Simpson's offense was again led by
Madison Wright as the Red Hawks defeated Northwest University 9-2.
Wright went 4-5 on the day with 2 doubles, 3 stolen bases, and scored 3 times en route to the Red Hawks decisive victory over the Eagles. Simpson scored 9 runs on 13 hits and have now outscored their opponents 29-5 on the season.
Hailee Nichols took the mound for Simpson and picked up her second win allowing just 2 runs on 7 hits.Â
The Red Hawks take on Southern Oregon University and Northwest University tomorrow, February 11th, at 11am and 3pm respectively.
