ANGWIN, Calif. - Simpson men's soccer grinds its way to the first road win of 2017 with a 1-0 win over Pacific Union.
The Red Hawks were in need of a win and came away with it off of a huge goal from
Craig Stieler in the 51st minute. Stieler returned to the starting lineup after spending most of the season getting his named called off the bench.
Simpson had to scrap to stay in the lead in an even match as the backline defended against 14 shots, eight of which were on goal.

Only two games remain for the Red Hawks in 2017, both at home as next they take on Sierra Nevada College on November 2nd at 3 pm at the Simpson Soccer Field.
