Solomon Dutton's golden goal one-timer off a set piece from Joseph Colmenero in the 112th minute in the second overtime led Simpson to a 2-1 victory over Sierra Nevada in men's soccer action Thursday.

After the Eagles opened the scoring in the first half on a goal by Alexander Moreno in the 4th minute, the Red Hawks fought back to tie the contest in the 73rd on an equalizer by Craig Stieler. The two teams battled into a second overtime period before Dutton's game-winner.

Simpson outshot SNC 23-16 with Tristan Webb recording five saves in net to earn the victory.

The win is the second straight for the Red Hawks, who complete their season Sunday at home against La Sierra. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m.
