REDDING, Calif. -- Simpson faced off against visiting Benedictine-Mesa Friday evening falling in straight sets 20-25, 10-25, 18-25.
The Red Hawks started off strong leading for most of the first set but Benedictine came away with the win after a late push in the set. Simpson's offense was stiffled tonight by the blocking presence of Benedictine, managing 22 kills and 22 hitting errors.
Cameron Wallace led the Red Hawks with 6 kills,
Sara Salmon tallied 16 assists and
Marianne Soria finished with 8 digs.Â
Simpson celebrates their Seniors tomorrow night in their final home match of the season; they take on Embry Riddle at 7:00pm in the Grant Center.
