Simpson got four shots off on the afternoon, one of which challenged the Mariner goalkeeper. The only cautions for the game were on Arthur Omar Leal-Contreras for Simpson and Barak Moshe for Marymount.

The Red Hawks continue their road trip on Saturday when they face Providence Christian at 7 pm in Pasadena, Calif.
