REDDING, Calif. - The Red Hawks went back to work for the third consecutive day and were able to end a 7 game skid with a three set sweep over Mills College.
Simpson was in control from the opening serve only giving up 29 total points in the 25-7, 25-12, 25-10 victory. The underclassmen had the upper hand for the Red Hawks as middle blocker,
Cameron Wallace, led the way with 9 kills and two blocks. Another freshman,
Alexis Rodrigues finished with a career and team-high 12 digs.
Simpson will return to conference action Saturday, October 1st, against Pacific Union College and look to record the first Cal Pac win of the 2017 season.
