PRESCOTT. Ariz. - Simpson University women's basketball wins its fourth straight contest with a road victory over Embry-Riddle University, 73-67.

The Red Hawks took control from the opening tip and never looked back as they stretched the lead to 18 in the third quarter. The Eagles countered, battling their way back and cutting the lead to two with 30 seconds remaining. Esther Wofford then put the nail in the coffin, draining a pair of clutch free throws.

Fallon Greenhaw finished with a career-high 6 assists to go along with 14 points. Esther Wofford was the game's leading scorer, knocking down a career-high 7 three-pointers and finishing with 25 points. Whitney Rodriguez added 10 points, all of which coming from inside the paint.

With the win, Simpson improves to 13-11 on the season and 6-2 in league play, and is tied for second place with Benedictine Mesa.

The Red Hawks will continue their road trip in Arizona as they face Benedictine Mesa, looking for sole command of second place on January 28th at 4 pm.
