ROCKLIN, Calif. - The Simpson University volleyball team fell on the road to William Jessup University in straight sets, 25-20, 25-20, 25-21.
With the win, the Warriors improve to a .500 record at 8-8 overall. They were led by Taylor Jacky, who finished with 12 kills and a block for Jessup. Â Reeder-Esparaza was close behind with 9 kills of her own.
For the Red Hawks, Aimee Bellevile once again led the team in kills with 7.
Ashley Cervantes and
Kelsey Reibsamen split the duty of setter combining for 20 assists.
Simpson has lost eight consecutive matches and has fallen to 3-11 on the campaign.
The Red Hawks get back to conference play with a match on the road in Lancaster, Calif. taking on Antelope Valley on Sept. 30th at 7 p.m.
