REDDING, Calif. - Simpson Volleyball is swept by Benedictine Mesa in the Battle of the Red Hawks, 25-16, 25-20, 25-11.

Benedictine dominated throughout the match and were led by Marissa Kyman and Lauren Purdy, who finished with double-digit kills each.  Jade De La Rosa finished with 36 assists and 12 digs.

The Simpson Red Hawks were quarterbacked by Ashley Cervantes who finished with a team-high 17 assists and 12 digs. Ashley Job and Miranda Cook also combined for 13 kills.

Simpson will now go on the road for a non-conference game against rival William Jessup on September 27th at 7 p.m.
