REDDING, Calif. - The Simpson men's soccer team were defeated by Antelope Valley, 1-0.

The Red Hawks were outshot by UAV 27 to 10 for the contest.  The only goal of the game was scored by Jesus Macial in the 27th minute.

Pioneer goalkeeper Jorge Madera recorded the clean sheet with six saves. Red Hawk keeper, Michael Jones, finished with 12 saves.

The Red Hawks are now 1-1 in conference play and look forward to a match with Embry-Riddle on October 1st at 4:30 p.m.
