PRESCOTT, Ariz. -The Simpson University Red Hawk men's soccer team fell to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University 5-1.
Simpson allowed four first half goals and were unable to overcome them. The Eagles outshot the Red Hawks 22-10 in the fixture, 14 of the 22 for Embry-Riddle were on goal.
The lone goal for Simpson was scored by freshman,
Cody Beaumont in the 75th minute.
For the Eagles, Daniel Nunez finished a hat trick, 3 goals, while the other two goals were scored by Nicholas Goldstein.
Simpson falls to a Cal Pac conference record of 1-2 with the loss.
The Red Hawks next game is against Marymount California University on October 6th, at 11 a.m. on the Simpson Soccer Field.
