VALLEJO, Calif. - The Simpson University men's soccer team took home a win after beating Cal Maritime 3-1 in the Cal Pac opener.

The Red Hawks received goals from Solomon Dutton, Craig Stieler, and Cody Beaumont. 

For the Keelhaulers, Jacob Lassila put a shot into the back of the net.

Following the win, Simpson now has won back-to-back games for the first time this season and improves to 3-5 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.

The Red Hawks have a one-day break before their next match on Saturday, September 24th against the University of Antelope Valley. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
