Women's Soccer Drops Home Opener

REDDING,Calif. - The Simpson University women's soccer team dropped its home opener against the Northwest Christian University Beacons 2-0.

The Red Hawks allowed two goals in 8th and 32nd minute of the first half.  Goal keeper, Chelsea White, and the Red Hawks would shutout the Beacons for the remainder of the contest.

Northwest Christian's Bryce Branagan-Franco and Sami Wilson each put a shot into the back of the net in the first half.

The Red Hawks look to bounce back quickly with their next contest against Northwest University on August 27th at the Simpson Soccer Field. Kick-off is set for noon.
