Simpson falls to LC State

LEWISTON, ID.- The Red Hawks road trip would end on Sunday with the Warriors from Lewis-Clark State College closing out the series in emphatic fashion winning 10-0 with starter Quinn Grogan throwing a 7 inning no-hitter.

The Warriors would score at least one run in all six inning that they would come to plate including three run innings in the fourth and sixth inning.

Ryan Ford broke up the perfect game for the Red Hawks in the second inning when he reached on a walk. 

Garrett Yoder would be the loser for the Red Hawks allowing 6 runs on 13 hits in 5 innings. Quinn was the winner for the Warriors with his no hitter coming with just 2 walks and 9 strike outs.

The Red Hawks return home in their next game action on Thursday, March 24th, in a double header vs. Menlo College starting at 3pm out at Tiger Field.
