College: Ferguson is entering his second season playing for the Red Hawks.

High School: Ferguson played four years of varsity baseball at Cascade Christian School. He also competed in swimming and bowling. He earned first and second team all-league honors and was named Player of the Year in 2014. His team won four straight league championships and the state championship in 2012. They were the 2014 state championship runner-ups. He was on the 4.0 honor roll and graduated with at a 3.73 cumulative GPA. He earned academic excellence awards in US History, kinesiology, Gospels, and English 12 and was named Student of the Year for English 12.

Personal: Kyle is the son of Gary and Karen Ferguson. His hobbies include anything that has to do with the outdoors such as hiking, fishing, volleyball, swimming, and traveling. His career goal is to become an international business man.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I chose Simpson because God opened all the doors for me to attend Simpson University. The campus and coaches at Simpson know what they are doing, and it feels like home for me."
