EUGENE, Ore. - Red Hawks men's basketball fell to (No. 13) the Northwest Christian Beacons, 81-65.
Simpson got off to a slow start in the first half, shooting 31 percent from the field and were outscored, 39-23.
The Beacons won the rebounding battle with a plus 13 advantage on the glass.
Simpson finished with three players in double figures including
Justin Beskeen, who recorded a team-high 15 off the bench.
Josh Brakkee and
Aron Rudd combined for 25 points and 8 rebounds.
The Red Hawks continue to struggle from the free throw line, shooting 64 percent at 16-25.
Simpson has now lost 10 consecutive games and slips to 1-12 on the season.
The Red Hawks will have an exhibition matchup with San Francisco State on December 10th at 7 pm.
