REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University men's basketball falls to Chico State University, 95-51.

The Red Hawks kept the game close throughout the first half, cutting the leading to 7 with two minutes left in the first half.  Chico State, then countered with a run to push the lead to 14 at the half, and never looked back.

Chico State forced 27 Simpson turnovers and also grabbed 17 offensive rebounds.

The Wildcats, Isaiah Ellis finished with 21 points on 8 of 11 from the floor, knocking down four 3-pointers.

Josh Brakkee led the way for the Red Hawks with 21 points on 8 of 9 shooting.

Simpson will travel to Rocklin, CA to face William Jessup on Thursday, December 1st at 7:30 pm.
