ROCKLIN, Calif. - Simpson University men's basketball falls on the road to William Jessup University, 62-49.
This marks the lowest scoring performance and field goal percentage of the year for the Red Hawks. Â The Warriors defense was suffocating forcing 27 Simpson turnovers.
The Red Hawks were aggressive on the glass winning the rebounding category with a plus four advantage led by
Alex Huerta who tallied a game-high 14 rebounds.
Simpson had three players in double-figures with
Joseph Bosetti leading the way with 15 points and 10 boards.
Aron Rudd added 11 points of his own on 4-12 shooting from the field.
The Red Hawks held Jessup to a 33 percent clip from the floor, but allowed the Warriors to do some damage at the stripe, knocking down 13 free throws.
Simpson will have an off day before making the trip north to Northwest Christian University at 7:30 pm on December 3rd.
