REDDING, Calif. - The Simpson University women's basketball takes down William Jessup University, 71-56.

Simpson bounced back after a 11 point loss to the Warriors on November 5th.

The Red Hawks led from the opening tip, and extended their lead to 20 in the 3rd quarter. In the 2nd quarter, the Red Hawks outscored the Warriors 21-7.

Center, Whitney Rodriguez, led Simpson with 27 points on 10/10 shooting from the floor to go along with 8 rebounds. Esther Wofford finished with 14 points, but shot just 31 percent from the field.

Simpson had the advantage on the glass with a plus 13 in the rebounding category.

The Red Hawks will now prepare for battle with Northwest Christian University on November 15th at 5:30 pm in the James M. Grant Center.
