ASHLAND, Ore. - Southern Oregon University beats Simpson University, 91-64.
The Red Hawks fall to 0-1 in the young season in their road opener. Simpson struggled to take care of the ball and finished with 26 turnovers on the night.
The Raiders shot the ball extremely well from the floor at 51.5 percent on the night and knocked down 10 shots from beyond the arc. Â Simpson University finished with a plus nine advantage on the glass.
Josh Brakkee and
Joseph Bosetti combined for 30 points, each scoring 15 on 12/25 from the floor. Â
Aron Rudd also had 10 points off the bench. Â Brakkee finished with 16 rebounds which was a game-high.
The Raiders finished with four players in double figures led by Ben DeSaulnier with 27 points of 17 shots.
Simpson Red Hawks will now head to Klamath Falls to face Oregon Tech on October 30th at 5pm.
