Welpott is entering her first year as an assistant Women's Volleyball Coach.
Prior to her coaching career, Welpott had a decorated playing career at American River College and Simpson University. She played two seasons at ARC while appearing in 59 total games while recording 324 kills and 201 digs. On their way to a State Championship run in 2018 she earned a spot on the All Tournament Team. Welpott transferred to Simpson University to continue her academic and playing career where she played 3 seasons. She appeared in 65 total games and registered 582 kills and 440 digs while garnishing Cal Pac Attacker of the week, 2nd Team All Conference, and All Conference Honorable Mention honors.
Welpott graduated from Simpson University in 2022 with her Bachelors Degree in History. She is currently pursing her Teaching Credential and Masters Degree from Simpson University.
Welpott currently resides in Redding, CA but she is from Dixon, CA and attended Dixon High School.
