Biography

College: Avey is entering her fourth season playing for the Lady Red Hawks.

High School: Avey played four years of varsity softball at Riverbank High School, where she was Senior Athlete of the Year, a four-time MVP, a scholar-athlete, and an all-league selection. She was also a IFA national champion. She also played volleyball, basketball and golf. She played club softball for RR Gold.

Personal: Carlye is the daughter of Don and Laurie Avey. Her interests include anything orange and giraffes. Her career goal it to become a dental hygienist.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I came to Simpson to play softball."
