Biography

College: Montes is entering her fourth season with the Lady Red Hawks. In 2013, she earned All-California Pacific Conference and Freshman of the Year honors.

High School: Montes played four years of varsity softball at St. Mary's High School, where she earned honorable mention (2008-2009), team MVP and first team all-league (2009-2010), second team all-league (2010-2011), and second team all-area (2009-2010, 2010-2011, 2011-2012) honors. Her academic achievements include an excellence in drama award. She played club softball for RR Gold.

Personal: Noel is the daughter of John and Laura Montes. She enjoys hanging out with friends, doing things outdoors, and long walks on the beach.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I came to Simpson to play softball."
