2025: Welch appeared 39 games with 37 starts.  She slashed .364 BA/.405 OB%/.500 SLG%/.905 OPS in her sophomore season.  She posted new career highs for hits (40), batting average (.364), runs (11), doubles (9), home runs (2), RBIs (24), and SLG% (.500).  On the team, she ranked first in sacrifice flies (5), second in batting average (.364), third in SLG% (.500), third in RBIs (24), fourth in doubles (9), fourth in home runs (2), fourth in hit by pitches (3), fifth in walks (8), and fifth in hits (40).  Welch saw time at first base and behind the plate as she notched .980 FLD% while recording 17 assists and a team-leading 179 putouts.  She lead the catchers as she hosed down six would-be base stealers.  In conference play, she posted a .325 BA/.400 OB%/.400 SLG%/.804 OPS while picking up 13 hits, six RBIs, and three doubles.  She registered a perfect 1.000 FLD% to go along with 55 putouts, six assists, and throwing out two would-be base stealers.  For her stellar offensive play throughout the season, she won two Player of the Week honors for the Cal Pac and Continental Athletic Conference.  For her efforts in conference play, Welch picked up Cal Pac 1st Team All-Conference honors for the second year in a row, while also being awarded 2nd Team All-Conference honors for the Continental Athletic Conference.

2024: Welch appeared in 41 games with 38 starts. She slashed .351 BA/.865 OPS/.441 SLG%/.424 OB% in her first year as a Red Hawk. She picked up her first collegiate hit against Eastern Oregon (2/3/24) and her first home run against Embry-Riddle (3/16/24) on a two-run shot. She ranked first in batting average (.351) and RBI's (25) while being second in slugging (.441) and third in hits (39), walks (11), and hit by pitches (3). On defense she notched a .967 FLD% at first base with 80 putouts. Welch took home some hardware as she collected 1st Team All-Conference honors and was named the Cal Pac Freshman of the Year.
