2025: Lopez-Cortez started 43 games.  She proved to be true force at the plate as she slashed .431 BA/.500 OB%/.518 SLG%/1.177 OPS.  She led the offense in batting average (.431), OPS (1.177), hits (56), home runs (7), RBIs (38), hit by pitches (9), OB% (.500), SLG% (.677), and tied for first in doubles (11).  Lopez-Cortez saw time and third base and shortstop while recording .899 FLD% while leading the team in assists (83).  In conference, she posted a stellar .435 BA/.509 OB%/.630 SLG%/1.139 OPS slash line while notching a 0.906 FLD%.  For her efforts in conference play and overall outstanding offensive numbers, she collected her first Cal Pac award as she received 1st Team All-Conference honors as well as receiving 1st Team All-Conference honors from the Continential Athletic Conference.  To round out her dominant season, she was awarded Newcomer of the Year for the Continential Athletic Conference and earned a spot on the Continental Athletic Conference All-Tournament team.

Feather River College: Lopez-Cortez spent three years at Feather River where she appeared in 78 career games. During her time as a Golden Eagle she slashed .401 BA/1.115 OPS/.474 SLG%/.641 OB%. She notched two 1st Team All Golden Valley Conference selections and was named CCCAA Player of the Week once. 

Personal/Prep: Lopez is from Reno, NV and attended Robert McQueen High School.
