Gabe Caliwag is entering his 4th year for the Simpson University Red Hawks.

Before College: Caliwag attended Eastlake High School in Chula Vista, California where he played on the varsity team in 2019. In 2019 Eastlake High School was in the open division for CIF, and was a part of the top 8 teams in San Diego county. Caliwag and the 2019 Eastlake team were also Metro Conference League champions, they did not drop a single set finishing league with a 30-0 set record. Gabe Caliwag also played for Wave Volleyball club throughout high school. 

2020: Caliwag appeared in 11 matches and 36 total sets. He averaged 1.25 kills per set for a total of 45 kills and 1.25 digs per set for a total of 45 digs.

2021: Caliwag appeared in 12 matches and 36 total sets. He averaged 0.64 kills per set for a total of 23 kills and 1.03 digs per set for a total of 37 digs.

2022: Caliwag appeared in 6 matches and 15 total sets. He averaged 1.07 digs per set for a total of 16 digs.
