College: Boyle is entering his second season playing for the Red Hawks. He transferred to Simpson from Santa Rosa Junior College prior to the 2014 season.

High School: Boyle was a four-year varsity starter at Enterprise High School. He earned all-conference and honorable mention honors. He was a three-time team captain and the leading goal scorer his senior year. He also played baseball and was a member of the honor roll. He played club soccer for Surge. His club team finished second in state twice and was district champions five times.

Personal: Mitchell is the son of Tanya and Les Boyle. His hobbies include wake boarding and being on Shasta Lake, working on his truck, long boarding and being with friends and family. His career goal is to become a counselor and coach at a junior college or high school.

Reason for coming to Simpson: “Simpson gave me the opportunity to continue playing soccer and be a coach at my old high school. I also love the town so it just made sense.”
