Coach Daniel Morales enters his first year as an assistant coach for the men's soccer team.
Coach Morales is a Simpson University alum as he spent three seasons in a Red Hawks uniform (2021-24) and graduated with his Bachelor's Degree. He found much success on the field as he picked up a 2nd team selection in 2021 and back-to-back honorable mentions nods in 2022 and 2023.
Before coming to Simpson, Morales had a standout career at Rawlins High School where he was named a 1st team three years in a row.
Coach Morales has helped coach the girl's soccer team this past fall and has been a goalie for the past eight years.
He will be an assistant coach and specialize in helping the team's goalkeepers.
"Now as the Goalkeeper coach I want to help the program of Men's Soccer here at Simpson be successful. We will do everything we can to win the conference and get to the national championship tournament."
Morales has two other brothers and was born in Mexico where he lived for nine years until moving to Colorado for the next three years and then later moved to Wyoming where he graduated from Rawlins High School.
