Biography

College: Delamarter is entering his second season playing basketball for the Red Hawks.

High School: Delamarter played three years of varsity basketball and football at Cascade High School. He earned first and second team all-state basketball honors. His football team made it to the semi-finals and lost in a triple overtime game. During his junior year, his basketball team made it to the state championships and lost. He was named Player of the Game and earned honorable mention conference honors. During his senior year, his basketball made it to the second round of the playoffs before he dislocated his knee and they lost a nail-biter on a buzzer-beater shot. He played club basketball for the Oregon Heat and Mid Valley Magic.

Personal: Joshua is the son of Carol Delamarter. He likes to play all sports, go camping, fishing, and hiking, and go on vacations with friends and family.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I chose Simpson because they gave me a chance to play basketball. I was looking for a Christian college, and Simpson had everything I was looking for."
