2023: Sato appeared in 33 games with 21 starts primarily playing the outfield. He slashed .337 BA/.758 OPS/.393 SLG%/.365 OB% to go along with a .976 FLD%. After three seasons of play, Sato currently holds the fifth highest career batting average in Simpson history at .314. 

2022: Sato had a breakout year as he appeared in 43 games with 35 starts as a swift army knife appearing in several different positions. He slashed .311 BA/.697 OS/.372 SLG%/.325 OB% while making appearances in center field, right field, third base, second base, and on the mound. Sato hit his first collegiate home run against St. Katherine (3/4/2022) in the form of a walk-off mercy run blast. He led the team with two sacrifice bunts and was second on the team with seven stolen bases. 

2021: Sato appeared in 12 games with six starts as a two-way player. In the box he slashed .238 BA/.476 OPS/.238 SLG%/.238 OB%. He recorded his first collegiate hit against D2 opponent Fresno Pacific (2/27/2021). Sato made 12 appearances and six starts on the mound. In the same day he recorded his first collegiate hit Sato recorded his first collegiate strikeout. 

Personal/Prep: Sato is from Hilo, HI and attended Hilo High School.
