2024: Yagi appeared in 19 games with 17 starts behind the plate. He slashed .204 BA/.204 SLG%/.278 OB%/.482 OPS. He ranked third on the team with 126 putouts to go along with a .993 FLD% as he committed one error all year. Yagi caught five base runners to move up on the all-time list as he now ranks second in runners caught stealing with 32. 

2023: Yagi appeared in 26 games with 21 starts. He slashed .250 BA/.586 OPS/.286 SLG%/.300 OB%. He led the team with 172 putouts while catching six would be base stealers to go along with a .989 FLD% on the year. 

2022: Yagi appeared in 29 games with 26 starts. He recorded his first collegiate hit against Bushnell University (2/5/2022). His first career home run came against St. Katherine (3/4/2022) in his first conference at bat. In conference play he slashed .229 BA/.658 OPS/.313 SLG%/.345 OB%. However, Yagi was a valuable asset behind the plate as he controlled the run game. He threw out 21 runners on the bases while ending the year leading the team with 195 putouts to go along with a .982 FLD%. Yagi holds the single-season record for most runners caught stealing (21) with a 56.8% caught stealing percentage. He was recognized for his defensive prowess behind the plate as he was named to the Cal Pac All-Defense team. He is the first catcher in Simpson history to earn a spot on the All-Defensive/Gold Glove team.
