Biography

2023: Kupihea found his groove in year two as he transitioned into the team's everyday second baseman as he appeared in 37 games with 36 starts. He slashed .326 BA/.804 OPS/.395 SLG%/.409 OB% to go along with a stellar .968 FLD%. He led the team with three triples and was tied for the team lead with 18 walks on the year. 

2022: Kupihea appeared in 41 games with 35 starts coming mostly at third base. He had a solid first year as the Red Hawks everyday third baseman as he slashed .282 BA/.709 OPS/.351 SLG%/.358 OB%. 

Olympic College: Kupihea spent three years as a Ranger while appearing in 71 career games. During his time at Olympic Kupihea slashed .235 BA/.362 OB%/.267 SLG% to go along with a .941 FLD%. 

Personal/Prep: Kupihea is from Anahola, HI and attended Kapaa High School. He was an all-league selection in 2018 and was named the Kauai Interscholastic Federation Player of the Year.
