Biography

2024: Hotta appeared in 28 games with 23 starts behind the plate. He slashed .197 BA/.254 SLG%/.296 OB%/.550 OPS. Hotta proved to be valuable behind the plate as he posted a .989 FLD% while committing just two errors all year. He had a team-high 171 putouts while throwing out 12 runners. 

Menlo College: Hotta played three seasons at Menlo College while appearing in 68 career games. He slashed .166 BA/.303 OBP/.202 SLG during his time with the Oaks. However, Hotta is a sure handed backstop who committed just one error in 2023 to go along with a stellar .982 FLD%. He earned a GSAC Scholar Athlete selection in 2022 for his efforts in the classroom.
