Biography

College: Ruffner is entering his second season with the Red Hawks.

High School: Ruffner played three years of varsity baseball at Lakeridge High School at 6A level. He had one of the top averages in the state of Oregon. He also played basketball and tennis. He was awarded the Marshall Award as top senior player for working the hardest on and off the field. He played club baseball for the Portland, Baseball Club.

Personal: Austin is the son of Brian and Brenda Ruffner. His hobbies include video games, sports, people, and culture.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I believe this school will get me on the right track for the next chapter of my life."
