Biography

College: Humphrey is entering his second season playing baseball for the Red Hawks.

High School:Humphrey played three years of varsity baseball and two years of varsity football at Clovis North High School. He was a four-year member of the leadership program at Clovis North. His football team won the 2013 CIF Central Section Championship and was the state championship runner-up. His baseball team won the 2013 CIF Central Section Championship.

Personal: James is the son of Bill and Cindy Humphrey. He serves as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes president, and his hobbies include fishing and ping pong. His career goal is to become a teacher and a coach.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I chose Simpson because they gave me an opportunity to continue playing baseball and for the Christian atmosphere."
