The Simpson anglers had their first team fish to kick off the school year. The Red Hawk anglers set off to drive a couple of hours to East Park to try to catch some big ones. They boasted three boats and seven anglers out on the water, and they all did a great job catching some quality largemouth. They used techniques like punching, frogging, and different life scope methods to catch all of their fish. Dylan grad Caught the biggest fish of the day, checking in with a 5 1/2 lb Largemouth. Then, towards the end of the day, Eli Fisher caught a solid fish frogging from the bank. Lastly, to cap off our first team fish out of the year, Braden Santa posted a YouTube video on his channel, Silent Outdoors. Check out that video to see behind the scenes of the day out on the water, and fish catches with the Simpson Bass team. He also collaborated with our team's new YouTube channel, Simpson University Bass Fishing Team.
