BOARDMAN, Ore. - Team Captain Kaiden Dinning, Aiden Grad, and Dylan Grad wrapped up the BAM Pro/AM in Boardman, Oregon on the Columbia River this past week. These anglers went out and battled big smallmouth, tough boating conditions and even tougher competition.

Aiden Grad finished 21st overall. He also claimed 16th in Angler of the Year for the Pacific Northwest Pro/Am. This means he has a very good chance at qualifying for the BAM Classic Championship on Lake Don Pedro later on this year.

Kaiden Dinning secured himself 16th place, battling tough conditions while adjusting and breaking down the unfamiliar Columbia River with ease.

Dylan Grad finished the highest on the team. Dylan took home a 15th-place finish, and he overcame immense adversity to maintain a top position through the tournament.

Alumni Brennan Osborn took 3rd to showcase his talent at another destination, and past student Ty Manterola took home his first Professional Win and a $43,000 Vexus Boat! "Thanks for the shout out about your start at Simpson on stage!"

Big shout out to Black Bear Diner and Bridgford Foods! Thank you for all you do for the program. Black Bear is a great place to stop for a meal while traveling to tournaments. Also P-Line, Pro Cure Bait Scents, and Yamamoto Baits played big roles for our anglers on the river. P-Line helped keep the fish pinned, with a lot of 12 lb Tactical Fluorocarbon being used. Pro Cure also helped get key bites throughout the tournament. Lots of 5" Yamamoto Senkos and Zakos were used on the river as well.
