EUGENE, Ore. - The women's beach volleyball team dropped its doubleheader today against No.2 in the nation, Corban University, to conclude conference play this weekend.
The Warriors flexed their dominance as they took the first duel, 5-0, as they did not drop a set.
Corban had it all working in game one as they held Simpson to under 14 points in each of the 10 sets played.
The Red Hawks battled in the second duel against Corban as Simpson's second pair,
Tiara Manns and
Emilly Melo, dropped the first set 20-13 and narrowly fell 22-20 in the second set.
Simpson's fifth pair,
Kiersti Howell and Alexis Andaya closed out the day falling 21-12 and 21-18.
The Warriors remained spotless as they took the 5-0 victory as they played a minimum of 20 sets on the day.
