VALLEJO, Calif. - The Red Hawks golf team concluded play today in the three-day Cal Pac Showcase in Vallejo, CA.
The men's team had a solid showing as they held the team lead over the three days of play. The men's team improved its scores each day after posting a +41 after the first day of play.
The men's team consisted of
Adam Cotter,
Fynn Junghans,
Trey Alwert,
Ty Salvador, and
Ryan Gavin.
Alwert stood in second place after day one with a +4 score before finishing the second day with the lead and never looked back as he closed out the Cal Pac Showcase with first-place honors on the men's side.
Junghans and Cotter placed in the top five as Salvador and Gavin placed sixth and seventh respectively with a total of 20 golfers on the men's side.
On the women's side,
Michelle Euan took home first-place honors as she held the best individual score after one day of play with a +5 and never looked back.
Addison Jones rounded out the women's side as she placed sixth out of 18 total golfers on the women's side.
With the win, Simpson closes out its spring season as they get ready for the conference championships on April 12th-17th.
