Simpson Falls 80–62 on the Road at Jessup University

ROCKLIN, Calif. — Simpson men's basketball dropped an 80–62 road contest to Jessup on Tuesday night, struggling to slow down the Warriors' scoring and pace despite a competitive first half.

Simpson opened the game with solid energy as Jack Jillson and Aidan Rolfs got the Red Hawks on the board early with a 5-0 start.

The Red Hawks kept pace throughout the first half, trading scores and responding to Jessup's pressure. Simpson entered halftime tied 37–37 after the Red Hawks closed the half on a short 4-0 run.

Jessup opened the second half with a string of baskets inside, creating separation as the Warriors went on an 8-0 run to start.

Jillson continued to produce offensively with trips to the free throw line and a timely three-pointer to keep Simpson within reach.

Timothy Parker added key buckets, while generating scoring chances with drive-and-kick playmaking to lead the team in assists.

Jillson led with 20 points and nine rebounds, while Attebery and Parker rounded out the Red Hawks with a combined 25 points.

Simpson continues its road stretch as the Red Hawks look to regroup and prepare for their next matchup against Warner Pacific University on Nov. 14th at 4 PM (PST).
