Simpson Concludes Season with Final Defeat

SANTA ANA, Calif. - The Simpson University Red Hawks concluded their season with a 4-0 loss in the California Pacific Conference championship game against Westcliff University Warriors.

After an emphatic win over the Cal Pac regular season champions, Stanton, the Red Hawks were unable to do it again as Westcliff proved too strong.

Westcliff shot 24 times throughout the game, compared to Simpson's three shots. Adi Vaknin, who scored a hat trick in Redding last week, bagged himself two assists in the game.

Westcliff scored goals in the 19th, 59th, 66th, and 84th minutes. A dominant display by the Warriors, who took home the Cal Pac Championship title.

Simpson had plenty to celebrate in the form of individual achievements, with Adrian Martinez earning a spot on the all-conference first team.

Jonathen Garcia Virgen, Miciah Kirton, Sergio Garibay, and Jacopo Trolese were all honored with second-team all-conference awards.

Jacope Trolese went one better, as he received the newcomer of the year award.

As the Red Hawks conclude their season, they have plenty to be proud of as Simpson rebuilds this offseason to get ready for the 2026 campaign.
