SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Red Hawks Cross Country teams raced in their last regular season competition before the Cal Pac conference championships. With a blazing-fast course, they came away with numerous lifetime bests. Jewelia Zaragoza earned an impressive personal best of roughly 2 minutes faster than her last 6k time. Kezia Pierce dropped her time by over a minute, and both Alexis Heredia and Nieva Parsons took home PR's of their own.

The men's team showed some solid performances as well, with Matthew Viramontez and Benjamin Peralta grabbing big PR's of nearly a minute and a minute and a half each. Justin Montoya and Cade Salsedo led the group with solid performances, coming very close to breaking new ground on their own personal bests. 

Year by year, race by race, this team continues to make consistent progress towards our goals. In two weeks, we will race our conference championship event at home on the West Valley Cross Country course.
