SALEM, Ore. - The Red Hawks sent Abigail Oosterhout, one of the seasoned Red Hawks runners to compete in the Willamette Invite up in Salem, OR. 

The competition was fierce with numerous Division I, Division II, and other top NAIA programs. 

However, yet again Oosterhout came home with a new personal best of 19:19, outperforming three other athletes to secure a 66th place finish out of 222 other runners. 

This time puts her in contention for a top-five fastest individual official time this season within the Cal Pac. 

The Willamette Invite will certainly become a regular race for Simpson cross-country teams in the future.
